Volunteer: Magothy Bay Trail Maintenance Day
June 4 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Meet at the parking lot at the end of Bulls Drive. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing (including shoes and hat) and bring the following as desired:
- tick and insect repellant
- sunscreen
- favorite gloves and snips/loppers
- hydrating fluids and a snack.
We (DCR) will have extra gloves, tools, and a water cooler to refill bottles. We will also have an AED and first aid kit on site, but any unique needs (e.g., epi pen, insulin) should be brought by a participant if it is possible that it will be needed. Most of the work will take place along the northern portion of the trail. If there are a lot of volunteers, some folks may do some work with DCR staff nearer the berm or at the new pollinator area.
