Due to coastal flooding predictions and current conditions, the time of Marine Life Day at VIMS Eastern Shore Lab in Wachapreague this Saturday, Sept. 21 has been shifted to 2-5PM. Marine Life Day is a public open house event offering the opportunity to the Eastern Shore community (and beyond) to explore marine organisms found in the region and researchers active on the Eastern Shore. It showcases current and past research conducted at ESL, displays local marine organisms and habitats, and offers interactive and educational activities for all ages.
